School Sports Magazine National Final 2025

After a superb showing in the knockout phases, both our boys’ and girls’ teams took to the courts in the School Sports Magazine National Finals.

In the semi-finals, the girls’ team showed real grit, drawing 3-3 with North London Collegiate College, and progressed on count back in a tightly contested tie. The boys’ team impressed with a confident 4-2 win over Aylesbury Grammar School.

In the finals, the girls faced a strong Wycombe Abbey side. Despite a great effort, and some brilliant individual performances, they were narrowly beaten 4-2 in a close and hard fought match. Their journey to the final was a great achievement and testament to their resilience and teamwork. With over 100 schools entering the competition, they can be very proud with second place.

Meanwhile, the boys’ team battled hard in the final against Lancaster Royal Grammar School. With outstanding energy in extremely hot conditions, the boys managed to pull off an outstanding victory and were crowned National Champions.

A huge well done to all the players. To have both teams in the National Final and come away with a National title is an incredible accomplishment for our Bromsgrove tennis players.
